What encourages independent learning online?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
This session explores how to encourage learners to become more independent online, whether they are working on their own (such as before they arrive or on waiting lists for classes) or in class. This means having clear goals, access to well-annotated material, a way to track their work, and making good choices. Teachers have a key role to play in learners' success. Attendees will leave with links to a resource list of open access material and suggestions for building independent learning.
