Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the EAL field, focussing on CLB integration and alignment, assessment criteria and conditions, task alignment, as well as ESP: health care prep and workplace readiness. Her focus has been CLB 7-9. She has collaborated with Red River College, Bow Valley College, UVic and others and has presented at various BCTEAL and TESL Canada conferences. She is currently working in the VCC Assessment Centre, creating Speaking test scripts and on Speaking and Writing rubrics, CLB 4-9, and is teaching an online LINC 7/8 class. She is particularly interested in creating environments for easeful and authentic, rigorous assessments for online environments at higher levels.
