The language used to talk about gender diversity in English can be confusing and seems to always be in flux. It is hard enough to know what to say when English is your first language. This talk will help to clarify some of the basic ideas and language used by and about transgender, nonbinary, and other gender-diverse people so that you can do a better job of teaching it to learners.
